1) Brunello Tour (Full day)

The tour departs from the Benedictine Abbey of St. Antimo, founded in 781 BC by Charlemagne, here you can listen to the Gregorian Chants of the Augustini monks living in the Abbey, then continue to one of the most important and prestigious cellars of Brunello wine, where you can have a wine tasting/lunch and learn about the art of production this prestigious wine. In the afternoon the guests will visit Montalcino, famous for its Brunello wine and also for the delicious honey that guests can buy in various tastes, you will also visit the medieval fortress.

2) Chianti Tour (Full day)

The Chianti region is world known since 1500 for its fertile hills and particularly because it is suitable for the production of wine. This region is also famous for its many castles belonging to the ancient Italian nobility.
The tour begins at Brolio Castle impressive example of Italian Renaissance. The castle belongs to the famous family Ricasoli. Guests will visit the cellars of Chianti Classico. In the afternoon the guests will discover the landscape of the rolling Tuscan hills and visit Radda in Chianti, a famous medieval town.

3) Tour Val d’Orcia and Vino Nobile (2 Half-day trips)

The morning will be spent in Montepulciano, a town founded, according to tradition by Porsenna, Etruscan King of Chiusi. Montepulciano is said that in Roman times was an agricultural center. Recent finds of ceramic materials of the III-II century BC confirm its origin. The first document that states its existence as a fortified settlement dates back to 714. Today Montepulciano is divided between an agricultural economy, with its flagship product, the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, and a strong tourist vocation. Here you will taste this special wine at the prestigious wine cellars of Montepulciano.
Lunch in Hotel
In the afternoon visit to Pienza. The history of this city is tied to the will of Enea Silvio Piccolomini, the great humanist, who became Pope in 1458 under the name of Pius II, called Rossellino, a student of Leon Battista Alberti to transform his old birthplace into a perfect example of Renaissance architecture. The city of great charm, has been repeatedly used as a backdrop for major films like “Romeo and Juliet” directed by Zeffirelli.

4) Medieval Tour with Vernaccia Wine (Full day)

Following the ancient Via Francigena guests will arrive in San Gimignano, one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages on the hills of our land. Here you can get to the top of the country where you can admire fantastic views and discover the town of the towers. The tour continues to the Church of St. Fina, famous for its frescos by Ghirlandaio. Then we will visit a big cellar where you will taste the Vernaccia Wine. The tour continues to Monteriggioni, medieval town surrounded by ancient towers and walls built in 1203. Monteriggioni was even mentioned by Dante Alighieri in his “Divine Comedy ” Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch departure for the Abbey of San Galgano and Montesiepi hermitage with the Sword in the Stone.

5) Abbazia di Monte Oliveto Maggiore (half day or whole when combined with Bagno Vignoni) 43 Km

In the heart of Crete Senesi, near the beautiful town of Asciano, Monte Oliveto Maggiore has the appearance of the great Benedictine abbeys. The solitary and wild site is a wonderful example of artistic and spiritual beauty. On the hill, which is almost the epicenter of the parched solitude of the ‘Crete Senesi’, within the perimeter of almost one square kilometer, you can find a forest of cypress trees mixed with pines, oaks, olive trees which form a beautiful park. From three parts, natural gullies and ravines as a great wall surround the abbey which is accessed by a drawbridge in the turreted tower, from which a beautiful Madonna della Robbia seems to welcome you.
